Sometimes new teachers are hired after the start of the school year. That’s exactly what happened with Tamala Sebring, Lauren Cucco and Ariana Freigruber.
“This is my fifteenth year teaching,” Conceptual and AP Physics teacher Sebring said. “I taught at Randolph-Macon Academy in Virginia.”
“My husband is the Air Force Junior and ROTC instructor at Pankow,” Sebring said. “I’ve always enjoyed teaching and I love physics and I love imparting that information to kids and helping them understand.”
Sebring graduated from Central Michigan University and highly recommends that school to students.
“I have a son who is a senior in college and he will be graduating in December,” she added.
Lauren Cucco is a Physics and English teacher who has been teaching since 2007. This is her first year at H.S. -North and she originally came from Middle School – North.
“I went to Oakland University for my undergrad then went to Wayne State for my graduate degree and I would really recommend Wayne State and Oakland,” Cucco said.
“I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to impact other people’s lives,” she added.
Ariana Freigruber is a Biology and Astronomy teacher who holds her classes in the art wing of LCN.
“I used to work in Roseville Community School District,” Freigruber said. She worked there for about 10 years prior to coming here.
